Hello again, old friend

With yesterday being the 2008 summer solstice it appears that once again we are careering headlong back towards the long dark nights of winter.  Although there’s not been much of the so-called summer as yet, I will hold out hope a little longer that we may get some weather worthy of a barbecue or two before having to dig the scarf and woolly hat out of the closet.

Admittedly, this is not the first summer solstice to pass since my last entry.  My updates recently could well be classed as sparse, or possibly more accurately non-existent.  So, once again the blog has re-appeared with a new design, and once again I am going to attempt to make at least semi-regular entries.  Naturally I won’t be promising to stick to any specific schedule, and am obviously not implying that I will be posting anything of note, but we’ll see how it goes.

Of course the site still needs a bit of work, and there are things to be added to it which I’ll hopefully get done over the next few weeks.  Comments and archives are just two of the areas requiring attention, but I’m sure it won’t inconvenience you too much. cough
